What the trial is for

The Groom Trial is a style and color review, not a fitting. It's made for grooms who want to see the tuxedo or suit in person, on themselves, before committing to the final wedding order. Confirm the color matches your vision, feel the fabric, and picture the whole party in it.

Don't worry about the fit on your trial: we fine-tune sizing on your final order. The trial is about the look, not perfecting the measurements.

How to order a trial

    Pick a tuxedo or suit, add the pieces you want to try, and enter your sizes.

    Add to cart, then enter GROOMTRIAL at checkout.

    The rental drops to free and the damage waiver is waived. Your only charge is the $10 trial shipping.

    It ships to your door.

    Your trial arrives about 1 to 2 weeks after you order. Try the color and style at home.

    Send it back within 3 days.

    Use the prepaid return label in the box. It's due back 3 days after it arrives.

    Order the real thing.

    Happy with the look? Order your final tuxedo and invite the wedding party. We adjust sizing on that order.

The fine print

  • One trial order per groom, per event.
  • Available only for events at least 60 days away.
  • It's a one-time style and color review, not a fitting. Sizing is adjusted on your final tuxedo order, so the trial isn't meant for perfecting size or fit.
  • No exchanges on trial orders.
  • Your trial is due back within 3 days of delivery, in the prepaid mailer.
  • We may cancel any order if we believe the offer is being misused.
