Self-tie or pre-tied

Every bow tie comes two ways. A pre-tied bow is ready to wear with an adjustable band that hooks around the collar, so it looks the same all night with no practice. A self-tie (freestyle) bow you knot yourself for a hand-made look that sits a little differently on everyone. Long ties and skinny ties are self-tie. What is the difference between self-tie and pre-tied?

A pre-tied bow tie is already knotted on an adjustable band and hooks around your collar, ready to wear. A self-tie (freestyle) bow you knot yourself for a hand-made look. Long and skinny ties are self-tie. Filter by how it ties at the top of the page.

Can I match my tie to my suit or the wedding colors?

Yes. Use the color swatches to filter to a family (navy, burgundy, blush, sage and more), or bring a swatch to our Palmyra showroom and we'll match it in person.

Can I rent a tie without renting a whole look?

Yes. Neckwear can be rented or bought on its own, or added to a jacket-and-pants look.

Do ties come in different sizes?

Long and skinny ties are one length; bow ties adjust to your collar. Each product page lists the width and length for that style.

When should I order for a wedding party?

Order early so rentals arrive about 10 days before the event. For groups, talk to our team and we'll help everyone match.
